Dr.Vet at Avepa

Dr.Vet, presents at the Veterinary Congress of AVEPA, its range of nutraceutical products for animal health.

From 7 to 9 November 2019, the Southern European Veterinarian Conference - SEVC- 54th National Congress of AVEPA (Association of Spanish Veterinarians Specialists in Small Animals) was held at the Palacio de Congresos y Exposiciones in Seville in collaboration with NAVC (North American Veterinary Community).

Dr.Vet presented at its stand, its range of natural nutraceutical products designed from a rigorous R&D process, to alleviate and prevent pathologies linked to animal health, especially for dogs and cats.

Great acceptance of Dr.Vet's ophthalmology products.

The innovative ophthalmological line indicated for animals with pathologies linked to glaucoma, cataracts, retina and dry eye, which has the collaboration and supervision of the Veterinary Ophthalmological Institute of Barcelona-IVO, aroused great interest among the more than 15,000 attendees at the Congress.

In this sense, companies and professionals from various countries such as Poland, Ukraine, Israel, France or Canada, showed their interest in marketing the brand in their respective countries.

The Paco Simó Ophthalmological Veterinary Institute collaborates with Böthmen Pharma

The Ophthalmological Veterinary Institute of Barcelona (IVO), directed by Paco Simó, is an international center of reference entirely dedicated to the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of ocular afflictions in companion animals.

Paco Simó has collaborated in the supervision of the product formulas offered in the ophthalmological line developed by Böthmen Pharma under the brand name Dr.Vet.

Since 1990, his work has been focused on the microsurgery of the anterior segment of the eye, as the first veterinarian in Catalonia to perform a cataract surgery by phacoemulsification and also the first to insert an intraocular lens in a dog.

Currently, the IVO is the only center in Spain that has the technology and experience required to perform retinal detachment surgeries in cats and dogs.
